Sugar Free Gajar Halwa

We all love to eat Carrot Halwa in winter season and it is one of the tastiest and healthy homemade recipes which can be made with ease and requires very few ingredients. I am going to give you a small brief today about making the sugar free carrot halwa today. The whole dish preparation usually takes around 45 minutes and requires constant stirring at times.

Ingredients Required 

1 Kg carrots- Grated
Ghee – 7/8 tablespoon
Cashews and raisins -1/2 cup
Sugarfree Sweetener as required
Choti Elachi/Cardamoms – 10 pieces mix
Low fat Milk – 1 litre

Preparation Method 

1. Wash the carrots and then use hand grater to grate all the carrots. We should use a thick grater as it makes it more presentable.

2. Take a big pan with thick bottom and add ghee to it and heat it. Then add the grated carrot and stir it well in medium flame.

3. Now add the milk and other ingredients like cashews, raisins and cardamom powder to it. Put the gas on low flame and stir the mixture till the batter reduces to half. I would suggest if we use skimmed milk to make the halwa tastier and we will also burn low calories.

  1. after few minutes as mixture looks ready, simple add Sugarfree Natura about 4 tablespoons and mix it well. You may add more if you like extra sweetness. Sugar free Natura is good for person who is diabetic and even for others. It is a very good substitute of using sugar directly.

My Inspiration in Life

It is said that behind every successful man, there is a women who stands like a solid pillar and gives you moral support and pushes you to give your best. In my life, I would give credit this to my wife who has given me emotional support and listening to my crappy ideas and still praising me for my work. It was the time when she could have got job promotion as she was in peak of her career but she gave priority to our family over anything else and decided to work for part time only. There was a situation when my work demanded to shift to Bangalore for six months and leave my parents as well my newly born kid. But she stood up and encouraged me to go ahead with the project and devoted her time and even took brake from her part time job. She is a perfect in all aspect and very organised yet simple. I had to visit France but did not know French language at all. It was really tough for me but her coaching helped me to attain French language knowledge and I could read and write without any problem or help. She keeps on working hard and never cares about the result which is one of the qualities that makes her different from others.

She has been a pillar of strength and given me moral education so that I can judge and make right decisions in my life. I remember once from my old days when we had a financial problem it was really difficult for me to pay our fees but still she told me to stat calm and and she will take care of everything else. She has given me the basic rules of life and understanding value of money.Even when I had overweight problem, she told me to pursue my exercise and helped me to lose weight so that I could stay fit at all times. It could not be possible without her as she took the pain and would jog and run with me for hours. She would wake up early in the morning and restricted me to proper food diet. I love my wife and I would tag her as #madeofgreat for being my care taker and teaching me every day so that I can sustain a better living and achieve something more every day.
